Hello World!

Welcome to my blog! This is my first post–hopefully someone will read it! So the biggest question is WHY am I doing this? After being in nursing for almost 30 years, I have realized that education is the most fundamental job I have! I educate all the time, every single day! A lot of what I tell my patients, is very basic and often very new information to them. So I thought, maybe people just don’t know! But maybe I can help them! Because I have all the time in the world!! 🙂 No because, I think small bits of information can go a long way! This information will all be sourced from reputable sources, easy to read and digest, and should be meaningful to everyday life. Of course, my disclaimer is, YOUR primary care provider should be the ultimate source of any medical advice. I am NOT dispensing it! Just providing helpful, healthful, FACTS, on healthier living! I was always that nerdy kid who loved to read the Farmer’s Almanac trivia from front to back as a child! I do hope you get something out of this and share it with friends!   1. What an amazing idea! Healthcare providers spend so much time teaching 1:1, sometimes it helps to get that information out early!! Thanks for all your efforts!!

  3. Your blog is great!! The conversation is just as if you were sitting in my living room or in my car talking to me . Love it! I like the ease of the conversation, too. It is non-judgmental.

  6. We must never keep knowledge and truth to ourselves it is meant to be shared. Every one does not have the same passions , when we have a passion we can talk about it in depth and meaning and help make a better world. Keep up the good work, i’m proud of you.
